At New Bedaya, we believe that a strong community is built on compassion, inclusion, and shared responsibility. Our commitment is to work with the most vulnerable neighbors in our local communities, ensuring that every individual has access to the support and resources they need to thrive. We recognize the unique challenges faced by those struggling with homelessness and by women and families navigating challenging circumstances. That’s why we have launched two cornerstone projects, Local Community Table and Hope for Her, to bring practical help and renewed hope to those who need it most.

Local Community Table – LCT

LCT is more than just a meal program; it’s a community-driven outreach that brings people together to support our homeless neighbors with dignity and respect. By providing nutritious meals and essential care, we address immediate needs while also fostering a sense of belonging and connection. Our efforts are powered by partnerships with local organizations, volunteers, and supporters who share our vision of a community where no one is left behind. Through meal distributions and compassionate engagement, we strive to create a welcoming environment where everyone can find nourishment and community.

Hope for Her – HFH

HFH is dedicated to supporting women and families in our neighborhoods who are facing hardships such as illness, job loss, or the loss of a loved one. We supply essential groceries and household items, helping women maintain stability and care for their families during challenging times. Our initiative goes beyond material support; it’s about empowering women, restoring hope, and reinforcing the bonds that hold our community together. By addressing food insecurity and basic needs, we enable mothers and caregivers to focus on healing, rebuilding, and nurturing their loved ones.

Together, these initiatives embody New Bedaya’s belief that everyone deserves compassion, dignity, and the opportunity to flourish. By working collaboratively with local communities, we are building a network of care that uplifts those facing adversity and strengthens the spirit of unity and hope throughout our city.
